Some "Conspiracies" May Not Be. . .

The Salt Lake Tribune reports claims that Timothy McVeigh had government help. If so, this would be a sort of covert Wag the Dog effort to outrage and alienate Americans enough to begin trading their liberties for "security."

I'm not sure I buy this one. It seems to fall into the Conspiracy as Causation fallacy instead of being based on a rational analysis of events.
